In 2004, people=positiveā„¢ staff started a conversation about how we could inspire extraordinary journeys for young people. Many of our clients told us that when they were young, their own personal development opportunities had not always prepared them effectively for independent living and working. We decided, after consultation with a number of agencies and professional youth workers, that a new and innovative approach was needed.

We have since formed a learning and development partnership with two schools in the Spey Valley, near Aviemore, Scotland. eXtend's work is a long-term project, supporting the learning journeys of young people from the final years of primary school to the end of their secondary school career.

eXtend is now becoming a well established independent charitable trust with its own Board of Trustees. People=positiveā„¢ helped initiate the project, and now supports the charity by providing time from the Directors.

Please see our 'news' page for activities we are currently involved with.
